Look of Today: Notoriously Morbid Tea Tosh, Stories by the Fire, Autumn Flowers, and Glass Berries lip tint

My favorite go-to daily look is some combo of neutral, potentially pink-toned eye shadow combined with a lovely cool-toned liner. Indie makeup opened up my eyes to the possibility of expanding my eye liner range with products like Darling Girl Superstar Serum, which allows me to turn amazing colors like Notoriously Morbid’s Autumn Flowers into shimmery liner magic. Today I used some of my favorite Notoriously Morbid shadows for something easy, with just enough whimsy to get me through the day.

Red shadows can be really intimidating, but I find when they are blended out they often can create lovely, pink-toned neutrals that I love ever so much. I used a buttload of Notoriously Morbid shadows today– Tea Tosh across the lid, Stories By The Fire blended into the outer eye and crease, and Wadsworth to emphasize the crease. Then I used Autumn Flowers as liner, and along the outer edge of the lower lid. I also used They All Float as an inner eye highlight, and brow bone highlight.

You can also tell that I nearly glued my eyes shut trying to put my falsies on today… haha. One could perhaps notice that I am not oft want to put on false eyelashes, but think not that it is because I don’t enjoy wearing them! I am just more adept at gluing my top and bottom eyelashes together than I am the eyelash strip to my eye. Oh fool that I am to think that it would look as easy as the Youtube videos. Someday I too will be that wizard who magically floats eyelashes onto their eye with a simple touch of a single finger, but until then this is what we got.

I used a bit of the Darling Girl Graycious Lilac for the first time as contour. I think I’m at least a little in love! It blended out beautifully. I also used Darling Girl To Love a Beast blush, and no surprise I’m totally in love with what a gorgeous peachy orange it is.

I’ve been really loving on my Notoriously Morbid glass lip tints recently too. I’ve been really up front about my love for NM’s Coffin Kissers, and these are the coffin kissers but with color, so they are absolutely lovely. This is Glass Berries, which has a slight berry scent to it and I think gives your lips sort of a berry-kissed look. Not too strong, not too weak.

Easy peasy, nothing to crazy, but I love the sweetness of the pinks and lavenders in this sort of a look. False eyelashes can bite my ass.

I love the this look! I also really love your hair color, how did you get it? I would be very interested to know how you got that color? It looks red but very natural. What advice would you give to those thinking about dyeing their hair red?
